VOTE TODAY. CHANGE TOMORROW.
Who Am I?
I am Joyce Brown, and I am running to represent District 52 in the West Virginia House of Delegates because I believe our state and its people deserve leaders who actually put them first.
Like so many across the Upper Kanawha Valley, our rural counties, and our working-class neighborhoods, I love West Virginia. I know this state is a gift to the world. But I also know the quiet reality that too many politicians ignore: our communities are struggling, underfunded, and left behind.
For too long, decision-makers have treated our home like a place to extract from rather than invest in. They protect corporate interests and bend safety codes while everyday families face sky-high groceries, unaffordable utilities, surging healthcare costs, and neglected roads full of potholes.
I’m running because I believe in the promise of West Virginia, but promise means nothing without action:
Clean water for every home, all the way to the last house up the holler.
Affordable living so grandparents don’t have to choose between their medicine and a trip to the grocery store.
Good-paying jobs and fair wages so our young people can build viable careers right here and choose to stay.
Real accountability for the working-class families, state workers, and children who have been overlooked for decades.
I am not a career politician looking to climb a ladder. I am your neighbor, ready to listen, fight, and bring an honest, fearless voice to Charleston.
Let’s redirect our future. Let’s get this right.
